FOUNDATION BUSINESS REVIEW

One workflow. A practical plan.

The Foundation Business Review examines one priority workflow at one business location. It is best suited to an owner who can participate, share relevant records and involve someone who will test the agreed change.

We review the information, follow the work from start to finish and separate observed facts from assumptions and evidence gaps.

A defined starting point

Agree the workflow, required inputs, meetings, timing and fee in a written proposal before work begins.

Target findings: 7–10 business days after complete inputs and the working session, subject to the agreed calendar.

What you receive

  • A current workflow map and evidence-backed findings
  • Up to three priorities, with owners and next actions
  • A practical 30/60/90-day action plan
  • A baseline definition and measurement plan for the agreed change
  • A findings conversation, one factual revision and a 30-day check-in

SUPPORT AFTER THE REVIEW

Make the system usable.

Implementation is a separate engagement. We agree the specific system, responsibilities and acceptance criteria before building it.

01 / DOCUMENT

Clarify the work.

SOPs, role responsibilities, quality checks and handoff requirements that fit how the business operates.

02 / BUILD

Create the right tool.

Job and supplier trackers, customer follow-up workflows, simple KPI reports and supporting digital tools.

03 / SUPPORT

Train, test and review.

Onboarding tools, team workshops, adoption checks and follow-up reviews to see what changes in real use.

Supporting website work can be scoped when it serves an agreed business workflow.

HOW AN ENGAGEMENT STARTS

Clear expectations before a commitment.

  1. 01

    Share a brief overview

Describe the business, the recurring problem and the change you want.

  2. 02

    Discuss fit and scope

Clarify the workflow, people involved, available information and delivery arrangements.

  3. 03

    Review a written proposal

Confirm deliverables, inputs, responsibilities, timing and fee before work starts.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Can we work remotely?

Remote reviews, documentation and working sessions are available when the information can be reviewed effectively. Foundation & Scale is based in San Antonio. Any on-site work, travel and scheduling are agreed in the proposal.

Do we need new software?

A new tool is not the default recommendation. We first consider whether removing a step, clarifying ownership, improving an existing tool or training the team would address the problem.

How is pricing determined?

The fee depends on the agreed scope, inputs and delivery requirements. A written proposal confirms the fee before work begins.

What is outside the review?

Implementation is separately scoped. The review does not include legal, tax, accounting or regulated technical advice. Business results are not guaranteed.

How do you measure progress?

Agree a baseline and a practical measure, then check completion, adoption and operational changes. Examples include missing handoff information, delays or rework. Changes in results must be interpreted in context.
